1st Posted April 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2016 We will be going on the Eurodam in July. Just curious what kind of juices are available. Anyone have any ideas? Looking for POG!
CruiserBruce Posted April 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2016 POG? They will have a pretty good selection. Things like orange, prune, apple, pineapple, tomato, grapefruit, probably a couple of others.
SilvertoGold Posted April 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) Haven't noticed that one myself on a HAL ship. I have seen something like POG, but not the same. However, you should try the Chilled Passionfruit soup!! Seriously YUM! Edited April 2, 2016 by SilvertoGold

rkacruiser Posted April 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 2, 2016 POG = passionfruit, orange, guava. Common in Hawaii POG: Sounds very good, but have never, ever, seen it offered anywhere. I would encourage the OP to look for Guava Juice which has always been available in the Lido Restaurant except on my 2015/2016 Prinsendam cruise. Passion Fruit Juice was available in its place and it was delicious as well.

Also, it is quite common in Canada, especially Japanese stores. Edited April 2, 2016 by SilvertoGold
ellieanne Posted April 2, 2016 #7 Share Posted April 2, 2016 I've never seen passionfruit juice, but I have a couple of glasses (they're tiny!) of guava juice every morning with a bran muffin. Next cruise I may have to try mixing it with orange juice.
Rare SLOTheta Posted April 3, 2016 #8 Share Posted April 3, 2016 I love POG as my mimosa mixer when we are in Hawaii. Yummy! Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Sir PMP Posted April 3, 2016 #9 Share Posted April 3, 2016 POG? They will have a pretty good selection. Things like orange, prune, apple, pineapple, tomato, grapefruit, probably a couple of others. Yes, they are all from a machine no more fresh juices...
Wrightwoodsbest Posted April 3, 2016 #10 Share Posted April 3, 2016 Yes, they are all from a machine no more fresh juices... If you ask the server behind the area where juice is set out in a cooler, you can get fresh squeezed OJ.
Rare Btimmer Posted April 4, 2016 #11 Share Posted April 4, 2016 Add cranberry to the list. I had it on the Eurodam last fall.
rkacruiser Posted April 4, 2016 #12 Share Posted April 4, 2016 Add cranberry to the list. I had it on the Eurodam last fall. Quite right! Cranberry Juice has always been available in the Lido and in the MDR as well, I recall.
Despegue Posted April 4, 2016 #13 Share Posted April 4, 2016 Well actually, during Breakfast, they always have "Passion Guava" juice as one of the options. It is super sweet, orange in colour and absolutely addictive.
SilvertoGold Posted April 4, 2016 #14 Share Posted April 4, 2016 A lot of HAL juices are way too sweet for me. Not the most healthful thing to drink. Nevertheless, I agree about the Passion Guava and I think that is likely what HAL uses for the cold soup.
