I'm pretty sure that shorts will be allowed.

I would assume like Dockers-style. Flat front, no cargo pockets, no draw strings/excessive buttons, conservative colors, etc.

When you say dress shorts us who live in Florida know exactly what you mean... Because of the heat and humidity shorts are welcomed at most places. :D
