and I leave in just a couple of days! I'm very excited. I've sailed on Royal Caribbean a ton of times...so I'm thrilled to "experience" the difference.

You are going to love Princess. We also have sailed on RCCL lots and sailed on the Coral Princess last April and I loved it.

There are no bad cruises and I like trying different lines. Princess was very relaxing.

Have a great trip

Charlene

Days till heading to Paradise

I have been on various cruiselines including Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, but my best memories have always been from my Princess cruises. The service is excellent, the entertainment is perfect, and the food was exquisite. I really loved Princess. As that say, it is were I belong.

For one, on the Dawn Princess, I recall one of my best memories. Departing from San Juan at midnight, we were admiring the ligths of the city on the Promenade deck. Suddenly, as the ship began to move and that the ship's horn had been heard, Bocelli's "Con Te Partirò" melody began as we left for a wonderful adventure. On the opposite side of the port was a Celebrity ship. They waved their hands, as we did too. It was quite charming. It was quite moving, indeed.

I am sure you will enjoy Princess as much as Royal Caribbean. Although some people like better one or the other, it is said that Princess cruises and Royal Caribbean International are pretty equal in status. And so, you are sure of spending a wonderful vacation either way!

enyaw,

I will be interested in your review when you get back.

We also prefer Princess over RCL for a number of reasons, mainly the freshwater 24/7 pools, the overall decor of the ships, the friendly staff, and of course the food which is in our opinion much better especially if you like good pasta and pizza by the pool.

Princess just feels like home to us and those feelings have never waivered even to this day.

Congratulations and have a fantastic cruise...

Thanks everyone! I can't wait to board the Dawn Princess. It's like going to a new school...for all these years my partner and I have sailed Royal Caribbean and we feel like we're cheating! Oh, well..we'll be cheating again next month.

I'll let you all know how the mini-trip went! Thanks for the well-wishes

Enyaw, in case this applies to you, watch the Princess Patter for the Friends of Dorothy meeting. There was one on our March Grand cruise and I believe that the meetings are held on most Princess ships. If it doesn't interest you, please accept my apologies. Family has to look out for each other.
