3Fluffies Posted April 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2016 Silly question, probably, but I've seen references to "luggage tag holders" being needed or at least useful for cruising. Am I right in guessing that cruise luggage tags are a different size/shape from what we'd get from an airline, so just the regular tag holders that we can buy in any store wouldn't fit? goneclear Posted April 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2016 Correct, They are not needed and they are different from airline size tags. Tags also differ in size from one cruise line to another. They are handy if you cruise often as they are reusable. If you are interested do an amazon search with you cruise line name eg. Royal Caribbean luggage tag holders. beachbum53 Posted April 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2016 There are a few places that sell luggage tag holders that are designed to accommodate most, if not all, of the different cruise line tags. If you're a member of AAA, they also sell luggage tag holders. ;)
navybankerteacher Posted April 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2016 Click on "STORE" at the top of the Cruise Critic page -- they sell clear plastic tag holders, with lops for attaching to luggage. They are reusable and work with all the print-them-yourself tags.

zqvol Posted April 25, 2016 #7 Share Posted April 25, 2016 You don't need luggage tag holders.. You can either simply print the tags from your online documents and attach them following the instructions, or wait until you arrive at teh pier and have the porters put tags on for you. Well, I'd agree that we don't NEED our plastic luggage tag holders. But we've had them for a few years now, and they make things really easy. cb at sea Posted April 25, 2016 #9 Share Posted April 25, 2016 There is NO need for luggage tag holders. The porters have real luggage tags..get them when you hand the porters your bags!

Yes, but then you have to enter your cabin number on the tags and fasten the tags to your luggage while others are handing their luggage to the porters: it can be done but why not have your tags already on your bags?
