pamrob Posted May 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2016 For those who have used it can you please let me know how this will work. I plan to download the app on my own phone as well as my travel companions all staying in the same room. I have the 250 minute internet package. Is there a way to assure that I am not using my internet minutes with the app on? Would it be possible to accidentally use minutes without realizing it? I'm asking because I'm traveling with my mother who isn't super tech savvy and I fear she may unknowingly use the internet minutes assigned to our room. Can anyone reassure me this won't be a problem?
darrengs Posted May 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2016 Not sure if it is the same on all ships. But on the Breakaway I had to set up my internet account and logon one off as needed. Just don't give anybody else the info and they cannot use the Internet. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
herdingdogmom Posted May 4, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2016 Shouldn't be a problem. iConcierge is accessed via the ships intranet - no internet access. Keep the phone in airplane mode and turn on the ships wifi to use the features of the app. For your internet minutes, there is a separate login and password. It isn't that easy to use on your phone. The pc's in the internet café are a better bet imho.
