MerlinsMum Posted May 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2016 We have the 8.30 dining option on Brilliance, but is that for a specific resturant? or does it mean we have to wait until that time before we can eat anywhere on board? Not sure, as the invoice didnt say, and I didnt think to ask at the time of booking. Where could we go, if, for example, we didn't want to wait 'til 8.30? And also presume we can go any time for breakfast? thanks.
Rare little britain Posted May 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2016 (edited) It means you have a table in the dining room at 8;30pm. Same table, same waiters, same table mates every night. You can eat at the specialty restaurants for a fee, or you can eat in the Windjammer buffet if you want anytime. If 8;30pm is too late then I suggest you swap to My Time Dining when you can go into the main dining room at a time that suits you. Yes, anytime for breakfast. Dining room, WJ, room service.... cb at sea Posted May 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 17, 2016 If you feel 8:30 is too late, switch to the main seating or MTDing option! But, the "set time" is only for the dining room IF you are in traditional dining.
Lanzalady Posted May 24, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2016 We booked our 12 night Eastern Mediterranean/Greek Isle cruise in June through the Royal Caribbean UK website and weren't given a choice of dining time. We were allocated 6.30 p.m. which is far too early for us as we rarely dine before 8.30 p.m. at home on a normal working day. I just called the customer services department a couple of months ago to ask if we could change to MTD and we were "put on the waiting list". When we received our guest booklet and tickets, our dining time had been changed to MTD, so a was well. Sometimes you just have to ask.
MerlinsMum Posted May 25, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted May 25, 2016 OK. Thanks for the input. If we can eat else where at any another time is good.
