About entertainment appropriate for teens:

A recent Panama Canal cruise had an entertainer whom many passengers thought was inappropriately vulgar for most of her performance, not just a word or two, but way over the edge. Passengers complained that there was no warming in the On Location.

It's extremely rare that HAL would have such an entertainer but apparently it happens. So I suggest you speak to the Cruise Director and ask. The CDs book the entertainers so he/she should know who is scheduled for your cruise. He/she will have an office on board, ask at the front desk where it is if it's not listed on the deck plan that should be given to you with your room keys. If the CD is not in his/her office you can leave a note with your cabin number and they will leave you a phone message.

We've had grandkids cruising with us and I would have been very upset if this had happened to us.

For myself I think I can easily deal with most adult humor but I'm more sensitive to entertainers who demean the paying passengers and I have walked out on several shows but that's my sensitivity while others thought it was funny and laughed heartily. Something for everyone. m--

You can use Euros in Norway. From my research, it seems to be the preferred currency.

I have to disagree with this ... Euro is not the preferred currency in Norway. Norwegians have their own currency as they are not part of the euro zone. Just a little insight a lot of Europeans outside the Euro zone find it very rude and annoying when tourists turn up and can't be bothered to get the correct currency ...

If I was in the USA I wouldn't expect to pay in Pesos and it's the same deal in Europe ...

I've seen more than one person told in Norway Euros are not accepted. Their currency value is quite high so makes sense.

It'd be like trying to cash a Canadian dollar at Target in Toledo.

Heck, you don't need to go to Toledo, as spending Canadian dollars in Target stores here in Canada has proved to be a problem. Target Canada closed all its stores in Canada after a disastrous expansion, losing some $2 billion in less than two years.
