BourbonNBluesLuvr Posted June 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2016 (edited) Is the Bistro on Five still open and, if so, are there plans to change it to a sushi restaurant? Hello, According to the news blurb here on Cruise Critic...it is scheduled to be turned into the Sushi on Five Restaurant on July 24...see below: Celebrity Cruises is replacing its popular creperie, Bistro on Five, with Sushi on Five, after a four-month test onboard Celebrity Reflection. Three ships, including Reflection, Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Silhouette now have the Japanese restaurant, which offers for-fee sushi and cooked items. Sushi on Five will be rolled out to the rest of the fleet as follows: Celebrity Solstice (July 1), Celebrity Infinity (July 24), Celebrity Equinox (August 6), Celebrity Constellation (August 28), Celebrity Eclipse (September 17) and Celebrity Summit (October 16). The entire Sushi on Five menu can be found on Cruise Critic's Celebrity forum. Appetizers start at $4 and include chicken ginger gyoza ($7) and beef tenderloin tataki ($9). Hot pots and noodles range from $9 to $12; sushi, sashimi and nigiri range from $4 to $12. BBL Edited June 10, 2016 by BourbonNBluesLuvr
bajacali Posted June 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2016 Does that mean that it will be closed on the July 17-24th sailing for renovations? We will be on the July 17th sailing and were planning on it being open as a dining alternative during the cruise.
Rare NanaChar Posted June 11, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2016 Noooo. I loved crepes. I was on Reflection when it became sushi. The only time it was full was when it had complimentary dinners. Sushi is served other places. Crepes, not as much. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
midwestchick Posted June 11, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted June 11, 2016 I must have missed all the rollout dates. Makes me sad.....our favorite lunch place on embarkation day. On our recent cruise we even had dinner one evening....too tired from a long day off the ship. Glad I used my complimentary coupons that I received.
