big al Posted June 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2016 Hi guys ..I just booked a so called "angled" balcony cabin # 10184 on the Getaway for next year..anyone been in this or similar? Also, regular balcony cabins are small, only 32 Sq ft on the average, anyone know how much bigger these are? Thanks!! Big Al
LrgPizza Posted June 23, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2016 It's not a "so called" angled balcony. Either it's an angle or it isn't, and I didn't check the deck plans to verify yours. I've been in one on Getaway. I'd say it's about 33% to 50% larger than a standard. It's very noticeable. I've since sailed in angled on Escape twice. We will always sail in these. If you do a search for angled balcony here, loads of pictures have been posted.
erocrobro Posted June 23, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2016 We were in an angled balcony a few weeks ago. I think it gives you about 50% more space. I wrote a trip review and there are some pictures of it in there. Sorry, I don't know how to include a link. It's called "Getting Away on the Getaway." April42749 Posted June 23, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2016 We were in an angled balcony on the BA and preferred that cabin to the mini suite we had a few months earlier on the same ship.
