We used ItalyTours during our NCL Epic cruise in 6/17 for tours to the French Riiera and Amalfi Coast. We also booked tours thru other companies during this trip but Italy Tours were superior to all - they promptly answered our questions and kept us updated. The guides, Yannik and Niccolo. were fun and professional and we never felt rushed. The groups are s;all, only 8 people max, and that makes all the difference, the vehicles are very comfortable and the otur guide dioesn't have to wrangle 40 or more people. Also, with a smal group you can tailor the itinerary if everyone agrees - we did this a few times and it worked out very well. And last but not

least, the prices are great!

We used ItalyTours.eu for our recent trip on Brilliance of the Seas for 4 of our tours. We did French Riviera and Monaco, Best of Florence and Pisa, Best of Rome, and Pompeii and Amalfi Coast. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend them. Our groups were a maximum of 8 people and our guides were professional and very friendly. We made it back to the ship in plenty of time each day. It was a wonderful vacation and I would use them again.

We just finished using Italy tours when we were on the Epic. They were very professional and knowledgeable from the beginning. They returned emails quickly with answers. The drivers and guides were very good. They were on time at every port. We will use them again.

Hello All,

I've just booked with Italy Tours Eu and I've found them to be very professional and punctual from my interactions with them so far.

Booking was made online by completing a form with some card details. Naturally, I was a bit apprehensive about providing my card details but Cristina who I've been speaking with confirmed that the details will be kept confidential and that no prior customers have complained about misuse or abuse of their card.

Did you have any concerns about providing your card details and did you have any issues with unauthorized transactions being carried out on your card?

Very many thanks.

No problems whatsoever with unauthorized transactions. However, we did need to notify our bank that the charge would be placed so they wouldn't turn it down.

I totally understand concerns about giving card details out, but this company is so professional and quick to respond to any concerns they totally allayed my fears. Would use without any fear any time.

We agree! Italy Tours guided us through Florence/Pisa and Pompeii, Sorrento, and Amalfi Coast. The drivers were excellent and informative! We were assured that we would be picked up at the port and returned to the ship on time. Indeed, we were! The guides at the site were extremely knowledgeable and personable. We would definitely use Italy Tours again!

We had a wonderful experience with ItalyTours escorts during our Med Cruise.

1~ at Villefranche we had a great tour of the French Riviera with Yannick. He was waiting for us in the lot after tendering, and away we went for a full day of sites and scenery. The small vehicle was perfect so we could get right up and into the tiny streets of the villages, etc. He was very friendly and knowledgeable having been in the area for his lifetime. He was very accomodating if we wanted to stay a bit longer or head out from a particular spot a little sooner based on what our group wanted. We were able to follow the itinerary as detailed, and see all of the sights with plenty of time to get back to the boat tender area. Nice, Eze, Monaco, and Monte Carlo were just beautiful!

2~ at Civitavecchia, we were picked up again right on schedule by Joseph (really Giuseppe, but he addressed himself as Joseph). The directions for meeting him right off the boat were spot on. It was a super hot day, and the A/C in the van was much appreciated as we returned from each segment of the tour. Our Vatican guide Roberta was prompt and knowledgeable and handled the large group well. The place was jam-packed this day, and taking it all in was a bit overwhelming with the crowds. A fan and a mopine for your brow is a good idea :) After the Vatican/SPB, away we went for the rest of the day to see the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, the Forum, etc. We had time to take pictures and walk around a bit, which was nice. Then, off we went the Spanish Steps, and all of the piazzas and of course the Trevi Fountain… so glad we got to see that before they turn off the water! We appreciated Joseph's tips on food and bathroom locations, and enjoyed a cold beer and a slice of pizza at a local cafeteria... along with gelato and cappucino, of course!

3~ at Salerno, our first driver, Salvatore, met us with a larger van for our group, and we went off to Pompeii for our tour. This was fantastic! Again, another hot day, but we were prepared and our guide Margherita really knew her stuff and answered all of our questions as we walked through the city. It was much larger than any of us expected. Apparently, there was a problem with the vehicle, and we ended up splitting into two smaller groups in two separate vans for the rest of the day, with Nicola as our driver. He was great, and brought us to Sorrento for lunch and shopping and then for a beautiful drive along the Amalfi coast to Positano. He stopped along the way at several scenic spots for pictures and we were able to enjoy some lemon granita as well… delicious! Unfortunately, we were not able to continue on to Naples as we’d hoped due to a fire along the road… apparently the fires during our port visit that were a bit difficult to control :( But, we were back to the boat with plenty of time to get back onboard for dinner and to relax before another busy day.

From start to finish, dealing with the office staff making the reservations and keeping us up to date on the group status, ItalyTours was great to deal with. No issues with credit cards/deposits/payments, either. HIghly recommend them to anyone :) Good luck and enjoy your cruise!

My husband and I used this group for their Best of Rome in a Day tour and we really enjoyed it. Rome is such a great city and there is so much to see! We felt that we definitely hit all the highlights, but we would also love to return and spend several days really seeing and getting a good feel for the whole city. We’re grateful for the tour guide - we saw everything we expected to see for a highlights of Rome tour. I’m truly pleased that we paid for our skip-the-line Colosseum tickets - I’m so glad that was offered. My husband would have preferred a little time to walk around the “wedding cake” parliament building - he’s a photographer and would have liked to get some photos, but we understand that time was limited and we had to squeeze a lot in.

The pizza lunch was very tasty - a good little spot for our group for lunch.

The English speaking guide for the vatican museum was very knowledgable but we found his style of imparting information to be rather uninspired and we felt that we could perhaps have moved through the museum a bit faster. Regardless, we were pleased that we had the time to see everything. And while many places were crowded, we understand that we were visiting in August, the height of tourist season.

Overall we definitely enjoyed our tour and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the company.

Hello :)

My family and I are heading to the Mediterranean for a 12 day cruise. We have booked all out Italy tours with italytours.eu. I have a question I'm hoping you might be able to help me with. We have 2 days in Rome at the end of the cruise and have booked the "best of Rome" tour with italytours.eu. I'm wondering how much you get to actually see and how much time you actually spend at each location? The reason I ask is because we might want to revisit some of the sites we didn't get to see much of on day 2. So for example how long are you in Vatican city? How long do you visit the Vatican museums? Is there a chance to visit the Sistine Chapel? How long do you get at the Colosseum? Any information you could help with would be appreciated.

Since you have a tour in Rome planned with ItalyTours.EU for one day, the net day I would suggest that you get the Hop On Hop Off bus to get around to all the places where you want to spend extra time. All you do is get the ticket and a map ad get oof where you want more time and then catch the next bus and go to the next location where you want extra time. You can purchase those HO HO tickets prior to going to Europe at Viator Tours.

Hope this helps.

We used italytours.eu for 5 people reently in Rome, Naples, and Nice/Monaco/Eze. Both times the guides and drivers were great, easy to find, and knowledgable. We shared two of our tours with another family which the company arranged for us. Easy and a good price.

just returned from oceania riviera cruise. we used them in sorrento, monte carlo and Marseille. i think for the france tours it wasn't italy tours, but they know who to use.

every tour was excellent!

our first stop in sorrento was changed with less than 24 hours notice to naples, but they made the switch effortlessly. then we wake that morning to find we're going to be 3 hours late getting to port. still made the tour work. we had to cut the final destination of amalfi out, but 2 on the fly adjustments and then a great tour?!

monaco was a fantastic tour. our guide was excellent. kept everyone happy and showed us so many things. nice was part of the tour and where he lives and you could tell, he really liked what he was doing.

last stop, Marseille, also excellent. Arles, Les Baux , St Remy & Avignon tour and instead of the kinda cramped holds 8 bus, we got a dodge caravan with room for us big americans. that part was great and the tour just as good.

our other 2 stops we did with people in roll call using drivers or limos in.... type companies and while that was nice too as their vans had water bottles and wifi, but they were literally just drivers. only offering advice or history when asked. italy tours people were fantastic guides full of info and could answer any question.

the only reason we didn't do all 5 was because of this system where it takes at least 6 people to make a tour "go". it's nothing on italy tours either, they all do it. the limo people have a flat price and then folks on roll call try to fill up the van. at the time, those 2 tours were basically same price and definitely going so we went that route. if the minimum thing wasn't there, we would have certainly done all 5 tours with italy tours.

Recently returned from a ten day Oceania Riviera cruise. We took 3 cruise organized tours and 2 Italy Tours EU organized via Cruise Critic Roll Call. Both Italy Tours EU were excellent! Guides were easy to find, were on time and very knowledgeable. While the Oceania excursions were fine, touring with 6 or 8 vs. 30+ is much better. The vehicles were clean and comfortable and it was a nice way to get to know fellow cruisers. Both guides were flexible so if we wanted to spend more time in one area we were able to do that. We took the suggestion of the guide for lunch on the Lucca / Pisa excursion and it was the BEST lunch and most authentic of the entire trip.

I organized one group and Cristina at the tour office was very helpful in setting up the tour. In fact, we were initially only a group of 4 but agreed to pay extra so the 6 person minimum cost could be met. Later, another couple contacted Italy Tours directly and booked the the tour so we will be refunded the add-on cost. And, comparing the cost of Oceania tours to Italy Tours EU, Oceania is more expensive (we had 3 tours included as part of our package -- but next time, I might choose another perk).

We were on a Mediterranean cruise and booked 2 group tours with ItalyTours in Sorrento and Rome and a private tour in Florence. Group tours were great, a little bit busy, too many short stops to our taste, but the guided part was both times excellent. Margarita in Pompei was exceptional as well as Maria Gracia did a great job in Vatican.

The private tour in Tuscany by all means was the highlight of our whole trip. Our driver, Diego, was fabulous, the best guide we could've wished for. He made our day in Tuscany unforgettable. Virginia, our guide for Florence city tour, was also very knowledgeable and sweet.

Villa Damiani where Diego took us for a wine tasting was a true gem. What a picturesque property, wonderful warm people, beautiful wines. It was our “Under the Tuscan Sun” moment. Truly intimate authentic experience.

Christina who we communicated through emails was very prompt and a pleasure to work with. She always stayed on top of things; we had a last minute change of ports in Sorrento and arrived late, but that didn't caused any interruption to our tour itinerary and was handled great. We had the best experience working with ItalyTous - we highly recommend this company to our fellow travelers.

We used Italy tours for our Florence excursion and they were excellent. Our driver Gabriela picked us up as per directions and made a nice stop in Chianti on route. Then he stopped on a hill overlooking Florence which was spectacular. Once in Florence Valentina was our expert tour guide and she was excellent. This was my third time in Rome and doing this tour made such a difference, from learning the amazing history to where the best places to shop were.

The enthusiasm Valentina has for Florence was really sweet. In talking to other cruisers there really isn't any comparison between the ship tour An this Italytours! Vans are new and comfortable, able to manoeuvre where buses can't go and half the price. The pace is gentle so even my 79 year old mother was fine and they include enough free time. I woukd not hesitate to give these guys five stars!

ItalyTours.EU was wonderful for our shared tour from the port of Livorno to Pisa and Florence. We enjoyed the tour very much. Our driver, Simon, was very nice and offered lots of info on the drive. Pick up was right in front of the ship and we were delivered back to the same spot at the end of our day. The walking tour in Florence with Virginia was very informative and interesting. She is very knowledgeable and speaks with much passion. The amount of free time was perfect, and we arrived back at the port with plenty of time to spare. We would highly recommend this tour company and would definitely use them in the future.

Perfect day!

We used Italy Tours for our Florence/Pisa shore excursion Sept. 19, 2017. Virginia our tour guide and Francesco our driver were both really good. Virginia's love of her city of Florence and knowledge of the history, architecture and art were great! Francesco gave us information about the areas we were traveling through since the van ride is about 2 hrs to Florence. We booked the excursion based on others joining us. We used cruise critic roll call to get to know others who wanted the same type of excursion. We chose the skip the line option to see David by Michelangelo. Virginia even took the time to give us knowledge about this amazing work of art. It was well worth the ticket and we walked right in! The van can drive right to the square where the Leaning tower of Pisa is. This saves a lot of time and steps. Instead of walking several blocks from the bus parking we drove right past and had time for a Gelato before the van trip right back to the ship. 5 stars!
