MsMot Posted June 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2016 I'm sorry if this is redundant. I searched, but couldn't find an answer to my question, which is what is the best way to get from the ship to the beach?

You can take a water taxi, land taxi, or you can walk to Medano beach.
lovevacadays Posted July 3, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 3, 2016 You can get a water taxi for about $5 pp along the boardwalk. Be sure and negotiate as some will start out higher. Keep in mind that if you do the water taxi you will have to jump off the front or back end of the taxi onto the beach or maybe some water. You can also get a land taxi - we paid about $10 total but be sure and ask before you get in and negotiate. You can walk it, it's not too far but a bit of a walk in the heat. Are the prices you quoted one way or round trip?
NBlewett Posted July 22, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 22, 2016 I've always just walked it. It Isn't terrible at all for my wife and I.
lbfluffy Posted July 25, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 25, 2016 We always take a land taxi. It's too hard to get out of the water taxi.
swedish weave Posted July 25, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 25, 2016 If you find a water taxi with a front exit, it is pretty easy to get off and on.
CWcruisers Posted July 25, 2016 #9 Share Posted July 25, 2016 I've always just walked it. It Isn't terrible at all for my wife and I. That depends on the time of year. OP is sailing Sept 24. I would not recommend walking, it will be extremely hot and humid. Winter, perfect, a very nice walk, but I don't do my normal walking during the summer months.
