NoNoNanette Posted October 26, 2005 #26 Share Posted October 26, 2005 That is where we are booked pre-cruise as well. Did you get free breakfast? I think that is part of our deal, but I made the reservation so long ago I can't remember! How is the food at Salsa's? Is it a Mexican restaurant, as its name suggests? And, just in case we don't get free breakfast, are they open for breakfast at Salsa's? Thanks! Good morning, Greeneyes. :) I didn't receive any type of free breakfast. They did have a restaurant in the lobby that was buzzing, though. I kind of doubt that Salsa's serves breakfast, but I've got a suggestion.... HAVE DINNER THERE THE NIGHT BEFORE!:D I'm absolutely HOOKED on the joint. (I could live on Mexican Food for the rest of my life and die happy!). If you're into margaritas, I've got a suggestion. Their regular "house" margaritas is $5. Spend an extra buck and get the "gold" marg. Well worth the extra money.

And I sure know about gold margaritas with that Cuervo Gold...was eating out with my then 83 year old grandmother and she ordered a gold...halfway through it, she said, "Patty, this drink is making me talk crooked!" :D Had to share that story! ;)
NoNoNanette Posted October 26, 2005 #28 Share Posted October 26, 2005 One more "tip", Patty- On Sunday morning, they'll have you dump your luggage and move your car to the long term parking lot behind the property. My "scheduled" shuttle wasn't until 11:30 am, much to my dismay. (Woman said that there were no openings earlier). As I was by myself, I got bored and restless. Dumped my luggage at 10:30, parked, and then stood on the sidewalk quite a distance from the many cruisers who were waiting for the 11:30 am shuttle. A shuttle from another property drove in moments later. Myself and a couple who were hanging out with me ran up to the driver, slipped him a $5 bill each, and the next thing you know it, the THREE of us were off to the pier! (Meanwhile, the others waited patiently). Keep your eyes open, and remember the power of $$$$$$;)
