goLC Posted July 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2016 (edited) My friend and I will be in the Triumph, doing btb 4 and 5 day trip. We don't want to eat in the dining room--this is a purely relaxation/rest trip. I really liked the crab ravioli on the Paradise in the mdr. I have searched and cannot find it...is that served on the buffet line? Thanks for any help! Cruise-Crazy Posted July 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2016 I doubt they would put that on the buffet
Velvetwater Posted July 18, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2016 Order it 'to go' in the dining room, then you can eat it anywhere.
cruizergal70 Posted July 18, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 18, 2016 Order it 'to go' in the dining room, then you can eat it anywhere. Are guest allowed to take food out of the MDR?
riffatsea Posted July 18, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 18, 2016 I have taken food for my husband when he wasn't feeling well. We have taken to go boxes when we were in a hurry to get out to get seats for a particular show. In general I don't think you'd be able to do this every day but for a once in a while issue they seem to be very accommodating.

SadieN Posted July 18, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 18, 2016 IMO ravioli is too delicate to have on a buffet. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

maldenmusic Posted July 18, 2016 #10 Share Posted July 18, 2016 WE were on Triumph last week and there was some kind of blue crab ravioli on the Lido buffet. Neither my daughter or I cared for it. We also never eat in the MDR because we just want to relax.
crusinpsychRN Posted July 18, 2016 #11 Share Posted July 18, 2016 Not without a valid reason. I've taken food from the MDR on many occasions for "no valid reason". The cheese plate is good to snack on so I get that and take it to my cabin. Have taken a baked potato and a salad also.
AspenRed Posted July 19, 2016 #12 Share Posted July 19, 2016 I was on the Elation last week. They had crab ravioli on the buffet.
Velvetwater Posted July 19, 2016 #13 Share Posted July 19, 2016 I too have taken starters/desserts out of the MDR by just asking (didn't fancy mains at the time). They put a room service tray on top for you.
kjunea Posted July 19, 2016 #14 Share Posted July 19, 2016 I have to have protein to take some meds late. MDR has always given me a cheese plate with a plastic cloche when I've asked for it. I don't get it every night, because it takes me a couple of nights to eat it, usually. Unless my hubby gets hold of it!
