Navaleye Posted January 8, 2008 Author #152 Share Posted January 8, 2008 Hello from the QE2. I was sitting in the Yacht Club last night and a lady walked up, put her arm around me and said "How is Rosalind?". It was one of the two ladies that met her in 2006 in 6065 on the QM2. I explained that Rosalind followed me and she said "I know". I haven't seen or spoken with her in nearly 2 years. Rosalind has been visiting the medium that I met on the QM2 as well as me. travel-to-go Posted January 10, 2008 #158 Share Posted January 10, 2008 Naveleye, did you ever swallow the worm in a tequila bottle? Just curious....Threadx Thready- Quickly- I have to know! Why! I did once! (by accident) But once I realized it had escaped from the bottle to my mouth, It was swallow or spit, and to waste perfectly (otherwise) good alcohol is a sin! I sure as heck wasn't going to chew! And by that time I had had enough tequila to not care. Am I going to die? Or is there a butterfly or something growing in my stomach? (You remember how your parents always told you if you swallowed a watermelon seed...) waiting for the url for the educational show (why don't you post it as a sig to your next post?) karie AKA Stella (P.S. Don't tell a certain someone I am posting. he gets jealous!)
Threadfin Posted January 10, 2008 #159 Share Posted January 10, 2008 " It is running the entire month of January here three days a week. As soon as the station website posts the previous programs, I'll post it. I watched myself for the third time last night. Put Channel 20, Palm Beach County in Google and you'll get the site. Then keep an eye on previous programs under Exploring Education. On the left side you will see program schedule and previous programs. The Threanmon Show will be coming soon with his new novel, The Night before Middle School. There was a worm in the bottle. Threadship

Threadfin Posted January 13, 2008 #163 Share Posted January 13, 2008 Did Penny feel the presence of the Rosalind Ghost? I was on board 24 days the summer of 06 and staggered down that hall many of those nights, stopped at the cabin door for a bit, and Casper never came. I don't think that Rosalind is a Threadx fan! Anyway, I'll be on for 12 days next summer and will, no doubt, keep hanging around Rosalind's residence just in case she wants to party. Navaleye Posted January 15, 2008 Author #170 Share Posted January 15, 2008 does Rosalind get a discount on her fare because of her unsightliness? If she did, she doesn't any more. She showed herself to me for the first time!!!! I went into my bathroom and said "Hello Rosalind" expecting the usual tap on the wall or clump on the ceiling. Almost immediately, I'm aware of someone standing very close to my left shoulder. I look round and see a woman. I would say about 5ft 5", white, slim/thin, finely chissled features, with red hair, combed backwards and tied at the back. The clothes were dark, but I didn't really look at them. I looked forward and then back again and she was still there, looking forwards and slighly down, she didn't look at me directly, neither did she say anything. I looked forwards, thinking what to do next, but she had gone when I looked back, a second or two later. Amazing, not only have I been living with a ghost for the past two years I've actually seen her! Comments/questions/advice welcome.
Threadfin Posted January 15, 2008 #171 Share Posted January 15, 2008 It sounds plausible to me. Being only partially visible, one would think it unfair for her to be charged full fare. My advice is to go to the desk and tell the story to the person in charge. I'm certain this happens quite often and that he/she will fully understand. Then, you can make arrangements with her to pay during one of her visible moments. Or, of course, you can blow it all off and let her go for a free ride. It sounds like you were looking forward to looking forward at this finely-fitted fox! Your call, Navaleye. Threadnot

cruisegal101 Posted January 15, 2008 #173 Share Posted January 15, 2008 Navaleye: Just a suggestion--full fare/half fare be gone. Why not hire on as ship's magician? This should result in refund of cost of "passage" for both you and Rosalind. It would certainly provide entertainment for those traveling with you. :)

Threadfin Posted January 15, 2008 #175 Share Posted January 15, 2008 A red-headed apparition! Sure doesn't fit the stereotype. All the specters I've never seen have been dark-haired, oval fared, ghastly ghouls. Magic, yeah, " Hey, Rocky, watch while I pull another Rosalind out of my hat! Nuthin up ma sleeve!"
