Gibralter! How to see it all in 6 short hours!

Recommended Posts

I’m a part time wheelchair user and have been to Gibraltar before, but this time I have my niece with us, so thought this time we would just get the cable car up to the top to see the apes

There are (about a dozen?) inside steps up to the bottom cablecar station.

The midway station involves steps (a dozen or more?) on a metal gantry - no fun carrying a wheelchair.

I don't recall whether there are steps at the top station.

IIRC it's all metalled path/road the couple of hundred yards from top station down to apes den.

As a part-time wheelchair user I doubt you'll have a problem but I suggest you skip the mid station.

Hopefully you'll get better-qualified advice from others.

Have a great time in Gib.

Thanks John. Do you think it would be better to get a taxi?

I do.

Others don't.

Horses for courses.

Life would be so much easier if there weren't choices :D

Mebbe ask as a fresh specific question about taxi/van tour vs cablecar, in the hope of getting different opinions?

And mebbe (OK, the mods might move it back onto this forum) ask it on the "ask a cruise question" forum - it gets a bigger audience.
