The_Big_M Posted August 10, 2016 #26 Share Posted August 10, 2016 Longest cruise I have been on so far has been 30 nights, with a drinks package but as they were included didn't feel bad if we had a alcohol free day here and there. 30 days, where was that? While there are the long round world and circle cruises, they will wait for retirement. How did you feel when you got off? :)

How did you feel when you got off? :) Ensenada, Mexico (really San Diego, USA) to Sydney on the Solstice via Hawaii, it was a B2B. It was great, I could have stayed on for another leg or two although I was missing my son somewhat.:D
The_Big_M Posted August 11, 2016 #28 Share Posted August 11, 2016 Lots of nice places to see on that trip. Lots of sea days too, so it's good you were up for it!

Yes, lots of Hawaiian ports along with Papeete, Bora Bora, and Moorea and then NZ. As for sea days, I really enjoy them.:D
SinbadThePorter Posted August 11, 2016 #30 Share Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) Not aware of any restrictions by P&O; usually they encourage it. As for the question, coffee and tea is available complimentary at the buffet when it is open. Tap water is also free there and with all meals. Breakfast in the Pantry has orange juice and apple juice on tap. For lunch and dinner they have chilled water, chilled water with sliced lemon and chilled water with what looked like sliced cucumber. All of which tasted like chilled water. There is a self serve coffee and tea area in the aft section of the Pantry. Although the tea aficionados I talked to didn't seem impressed with the available options, so it may be an idea to bring your own favourites. In the restaurants, one or more carafes of water are supplied on each table. I had the soft drink package which was all you can drink Pepsi, Pepsi Max and Coke products for $7 per day. I thought that was good value. If you want a milkshake that will cost $6 and a thickshake $9. But if you want vanilla get in quick, when I was on board they ran out of vanilla ice cream on the second day.
