Best way to get from Black Falcon Terminal to New England Aquarium

Hello, our group of six is trying to figure out the best way to get from our ship to the aquarium, where we will pick up the duck tour.

 

Has anyone taken a water taxi from the dock? If so, which company would you recommend.

Either water taxi company will cost you $20/person each way. A taxi, and there are 6 pax vans available, are $13 each way, so even with two, you would be ahead. Or walk 1/2 mile and catch the #4 bus, for $2/person.

I have read that some taxis can be reserved. I'm wondering if there is a preferred taxi company that any of the posters can recommend. Then I can make sure to reserve a taxi to accommodate six of us.
