mollybax Posted August 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2016 If you book a JS can you eat at the Coastal Kitchen (if ship dependent I am referring to OASIS class)? Thanks, MollyBax

suzyluvs2cruise Posted August 19, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2016 Thanks. Do you need reservations for dinner? Reservations are recommended. If you're in a JS or above cabin CK dinner reservations may be available in Cruise Planner pre-cruise. If not, the CK host/hostess can make them for you once you're onboard. Clarea Posted August 19, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 19, 2016 Thanks. Do you need reservations for dinner? On Oasis, we were encouraged to have reservations. I'd check with the CK host/hostess once on board.

bigque Posted August 19, 2016 #10 Share Posted August 19, 2016 Bob, I am Oasis next year in a JS. Do most suite people eat in CK for dinner every night or they alternate some nights in the MDR? On the 2nd formal night when lobster is in the MDR, do they have lobster in the CK? Do the CK follow the dress code of the MDR including formal nights? stevekc Posted August 19, 2016 #11 Share Posted August 19, 2016 (edited) We've found that we usually eat dinner at CK for 3 (four at the most) nights only. The menu is too limited to eat there every night in our opinion. Yes they do have lobster and we make sure that we dine there when they are serving lobster as it's not prepared in mass quantities like in the dining room. The CK is pretty relaxed on the dress code, however I always at least wear nice slacks with a collared shirt. And I own my tuxedo, so I always wear it one of the formal nights. And of course my wife always likes to dress to impress! Steve Edited August 19, 2016 by stevekc

We had guests with us, so were limited to two dinners in CK. They did offer us lobster on the second formal night and dress was casual.
