Vision of the Seas. What do you think?

The vision class ships are all a bit different in deck plans...

I love the Vision and took her on a TA after her dry dock in 2013...Was on her again last year out of Tampa for a wonderful cruise and ran into my favorite casino manager that had transferred from the Brilliance to the Vision...

if you are one for all the fluff of the big ships, Vision is not for you...The Radiance class is my favorite but Vision of the Seas is a very close second... These size ships are much more social and comfy...

We are contemplating a Baltic cruise next summer on Vision of the Seas. I am concerned about some of the reviews I am reading.

Have you sailed on this ship recently?

How was food, customer service, getting on and off ship at ports?

I would really like to move things up a notch - but itineraries aren't working with Celebrity. (We ideally are looking for 10 night cruise)

I don't listen to reviews as every ship & hotel has some bad reviews.:) BTW I have her booked for an 11 day in Aug 2017. Edited by FLACRUISER99

Old ship.

Especially compared to anything built in the last 15 years.

I would never book a cruise on it.....

A dry dock in 2013 upgraded the public spaces and the cabins. We did a 12 day Mediterranean in May-2015 and it was great. Just booked a 12 day Baltic cruise for June-2017 and looking forward to it.

The ship was lovely, the service was great. Not a big fan of the food, found it boring and mediocre but Chops was very good. The entertainment was probably the best I've see in 15 cruises. Lots of activities and evenings were hopping! We were tired from our all day tours but loved watching the more energetic passengers live it up.

Does it have all the Bells & Whistles of the Oasis class? Of course not, but for port-intensive trips, there is plenty to do and see.

Thanks for your replies. It's been a while since we were on a RCCL ship and I was afraid they might have remodeled and gotten rid of the outside promenade deck. Our favorite ship was Radiance and second was Grandeur so I think we would like Vision.

Yes you would! We adored her, and would dearly love to see her or any of her

sisters come here to base at Port Canveral. :)

We really miss the sweet Enchantment. Was not an equal trade to bring in

the older/smaller Majesty as a replacement. :(
