Fort de France airport baggage drop off/beaches near airport

Hello @ all!

 

Fort de France will be our final Destination of our upcoming cruise with MSC Poesia. As the ship will enter the harbour in the morning and our flight will leave late evening we would like to spend the day on the beach or within the city therefore we have some questions:

 

-How much would be a taxi from harbour to FDF airport approximately, or would you recommend another type of transportation?

-Is there a possibility at the air port where we can leave our luggage?

-Is there a beach near the airport or which excursion would you recommend for a couple of hours in FDF?
