OTS: My Time Dinning. Reservations???

Friends and family that are going on our cruise are madly making reservations for everything and anything on our cruise. (Remember that old movie "If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium")? They are driving me to the funny farm! The original plan was to gather occasionally to do things together and other times fly solo. I assumed with My Time Dinning we could just go to the dining room when ever we wanted and wait for a table. I understand that some times the wait would be longer than other times, but isn't that why you go to the bar and have a dinner drink?

Any thoughts, suggestions, recommendations? Thank you.
