igloo810 Posted September 11, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2016 Have a couple questions regarding the lifeboat drill on the Paradise. 1: do you bring your life jacket to the drill? 2: is it held indoors or out on deck? 3: If doing a B2B do you have to attend both? Thanks for your input. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Doggielover68 Posted September 12, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2016 No life jackets, location depends on your stateroom, usually it's on deck, and yes you have to attend both Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
Florings Posted September 12, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2016 Both times I sailed on the Paradise, our muster drill was in the small showroom for most of the safety instructions, then a brief walk up to our lifeboats to show the location. Our cabin was on the Upper deck both cruises. Don't have to take your life jacket.
Captain Carnival Posted September 12, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) No Life Jackets. Muster Stations A-E start indoors and then move outdoors to the lifeboat stations. Muster Station F is the Lido Deck pool area. B2B "muster" do both. Edited September 12, 2016 by Captain Carnival

sg4crzn Posted September 12, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 12, 2016 It was the worse drill I ever attended on the paradise. Not sure what the issue was but hopefully it was a one time thing. Loved the ship and crew. My kids loved Ryan that did the karaoke and deck activities. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

crusinpsychRN Posted September 12, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 12, 2016 On Lido they told cruisers they could not sit and we stood for 45 minutes. I sat at about 10 minutes in.
sg4crzn Posted September 15, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 15, 2016 It was the worse drill I've been to on over 25 cruises. I thought they were having a bad day. But after that we had a great cruise. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
mairinmaureen Posted October 6, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 6, 2016 Not sure what the issue was but hopefully it was a one time thing. I can assure you it was not a one time thing. We boarded 9/26 and had an unbearably long muster drill. It took well over an hour to complete. Fortunately, it started raining so we never had to go to the actual lifeboat stations. My husband and I loved "Make It Rain" Ryan too. He was amazing and absolutely wonderful with children. We also really enjoyed DJ Dracula.
