BenjiRodney Posted September 12, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 12, 2016 Just did the behind the fun tour on the Ecstasy. Everything deck 2 and below are under the water line, we got to see the freezers, storage areas on 3, the main laundry on 2 the engine control room, down some very steep stairs. Many of the senior officers have cabins behind the bridge on deck 10, including the cruise director. So all of the staff is not down in the bowels of the ship. Chillidog Posted September 13, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted September 13, 2016 Thanks everyone. We are on Riviera Deck for our upcoming cruise and just wondered what is directly below us.
SadieN Posted September 13, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 13, 2016 Only time we've ever heard anything was when we had R69. (We've had this cabin several times on several Fantasy Class ships in Long Beach. The loading area is right below us. Only noise was in our home port for loading and unloading.
