pieshops Posted September 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2016 We are on the Hong Kong to Singapore cruise Starting on December 22, the ship overnights in Hong Kong and departs on the 23rd at 2pm. We have never done a cruise like this. We plan on staying on the ship the night of the 22nd but want some personal experiences from people who have done a sailing like this. Are there set check in times on the first day? What if we arrive at say 10:oo pm that day and all the agents have gone home, can we check in directly on the ship? Any other hints or pointers would be great.

NW Pacific Posted September 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2016 I had an overnight departure experience 3 yrs ago in Quebec, CN, you were able to come and go as you pleased, I believe boarding agents were also available to a few hours before sail away. Give NCL a call to confirm

Those who show later will encounter fewer staff for embarking passengers, but will certainly be able to board no matter if it is 3.00am. It might be less convenient for such passengers, but certainly they will have a process in place.
