shadowmeboy Posted September 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2016 Are the choose 2 for oceanviews and above continuing or is something replacing the current promos? I was wondering because my parents were considering a cruise but can't pull the trigger till Monday at the earliest. Thank you in advance!
Carolina Girl 99 Posted September 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2016 Not sure how long the current promos will be in place, or what the next offer might be. NCL has a habit of extending promos when they near the expiration date vs. generating new ones. Their best bet might be to put a 24 hour hold on a cabin on Sunday while the current promo is in effect, then have them check on Monday to see if it has changed and then they can decide to book the cabin they had on hold, or choose a cabin with the new promos
Sand and Seas Posted September 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2016 Although they often extend the promos, I can't recall them extending the 'Prepaid Service Charges' promo. It is very popular and my favorite promo. Suggestion above about the 24 Hold sounds like the best way to go.
mtsnd1900 Posted September 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) Work with a trusted travel agent Have the agent put a TEMP HOLD down on a room on the last day of the sale. This will give them 24HRS -48HRS to put the deposit down. if sale extends, can let the TEMP HOLD get released, and they have a few more weeks to get the deposit ready. If sale does not extend, they are at least locked in for a day or two, and usually they can bump it another day or so. They will be coded as having booked at the time of the HOLD. Hope this helps. Message me for assistance! Edited September 17, 2016 by mtsnd1900

We can only speculate how long a promo will last.
Rare BirdTravels Posted September 17, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2016 There is no guarantee that a temp hold will lock the promotions. If you are a US customer, book the cruise and cancel later.
hawkeyetlse Posted September 17, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) There is no guarantee that a temp hold will lock the promotions. There is a guarantee in the form of your hold confirmation. Your cruise fare is locked in, so are your promo codes. Obviously, if you choose to confirm the booking with a deposit, you should check all the details again. Sand and Seas Posted September 17, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2016 I agree. We can only speculate how long a promo will last. Some promos stick around a long while. UBP has been there for quite awhile now. Dining has been there in various forms of decreasing value.
rochelle_s Posted September 17, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 17, 2016 I called NCL yesterday and my PCC was away for the day so I spoke to someone on the regular line. They did confirm with a supervisor for me that the pre-paid gratuity promo is extended until the end of the month. Rochelle
