By starting off a thread with an argumentative statement, aren't you already setting the tone for a negative response , through a passive aggressive approach. UandMe4Ever Posted September 18, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2016 Smoking allowed on Deck 5 aft and near the outdoor pool forward in a closed in area. Hope this helps.

Deck 5 aft is off the ship, behind Two70. ;) :D Deck 5 starboard, outside the "Art Gallery". The casino allows smoking.

Just what I needed to know Just so that you understand: When I say "outside the Art Gallery", I mean OUTSIDE. :) (it's a sheltered area with glass sides and some seating, but it's outside) Edited September 18, 2016 by Merion_Mom

floatel_lvr Posted October 1, 2016 #17 Share Posted October 1, 2016 Shame they did not include a cigar bar. I agree. But it seems they are even getting rid of the cigar lounges on the ships that had them. Even though they were usually full. Many of us are disappointed about this. But damn, I'll miss the ideal combination of a good cigar, brown booze, and a comfy chair. Edited October 1, 2016 by jstraw20
floatel_lvr Posted October 2, 2016 #21 Share Posted October 2, 2016 So do I! My guess it's like everything else, a decision based on the bottom line. But damn, I'll miss the ideal combination of a good cigar, brown booze, and a comfy chair. As far as bottom line goes you would think with the "extra" brown booze and cigars sold (not everyone brought)... it would have been fairly profitable. But I guess not... The shame is now when they have the "cigar lounge" out by the pool area in the evenings they don't even put out comfy seating. Also on Allure the bar didn't stay open past 9. Seemed liked missed revenue to me.

Patmate Posted May 15, 2017 #24 Share Posted May 15, 2017 My cruise on the Norwegian Gem was good but the cabin was dingy and the food was not good. The price was great and the excursions were fabulous
