Wheresthesalt Posted September 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2016 I just watched the Deck the Holidays video on Royal website. I am curious on how much Holiday celebration stuff will still be going on when we board December 26th on the IOS. Will there still be Santa visits, parades, snow on deck etc etc... Merly Posted September 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2016 When I did a Christmas cruise a couple of years ago it all happened on the 24th & 25th. The decorations were still around until we got off after New Year. ( They never had snow on the decks though).

We have sailed at Christmas and New year . The ship will still have the decorated tree up until after the New year cruise is finished. On Indie it is situated on the Royal Promenade. The other decorations gradually disappear over the cruise once the Christmas eve and Christmas day festivities are over. The video and the wording makes it sound like the whole month of December there will be the holiday festivities. It seemed to ma a bit weird to have Santa out after Christmas, but some of the other stuff would still be fitting as it is still the Christmas season through New Years in my opinion anyways.
