Tahiti Mike Posted October 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2016 I am planning to take the Ruby Princess to Ensenada as a quick getaway and just wondering if a Balcony mid ship would be better on the 11th or 12th deck. I know Ruby's balcony rooms are staggered and not at all like the Allure which is flush with the ship but not to have anybody staring down or up, does anybody know which would be the best deck.Don't want to go too high and get sea sick. Thanks so much:)

Thanks so much:) On the Ruby the Riviera, Aloha & Baja decks are not tiered but stacked one above the other. Only the Caribe & Dolphin deck balconies are viewable from above but it's not a privacy issue for me. I'll happily have a larger (9'x9') Caribe deck partially covered balcony or a Dolphin deck balcony which is a minisuite. My wife is very susceptible to all types of motion sickness but we have a Baja midship cabin booked. It would be better for her on a lower deck but being midship it'll be okay. Thanks so much On the Ruby all the side facing balcony cabins on decks 11(baja) and 12(aloha) have 9'x5' balconies that are fully covered by the deck above. There is one exception cabin A747 that has a larger balcony. All the side facing balcony cabins on deck 10(caribe) have 9'x9' balconies, 5' of which is covered and 4' uncovered. Aft facing balcony cat. cabins have various sized balconies. Any of these deck are nice. I prefer deck 10.
