shutuph Posted October 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2016 I wondered if the deck area in front of the obstructed ocean view cabins on ruby is well used or if this is a quiet area. Any opinions on these cabins. thanks
Robinsoncruiseso Posted October 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2016 The space is used by few. Often will see captain's crew out there. There are no chairs..standing room only. One of our favorite spaces.
caribill Posted October 5, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2016 (edited) These cabins overlook an area leading to the top of the bridge. On some ships passengers are allowed to go there and on some ships they are not. I do not know the current status of that on the Ruby. Even when passengers are allowed to go there, 98% of the time at sea there will be nobody there. While in a port (or entering or leaving port) a few people may go to the top of the bridge and thus have a view of the outside of your cabin. Below are pictures of the outside of those cabins on a sister ship to the Ruby. Edited October 5, 2016 by caribill
