Loonbeam Posted October 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2016 Hi All: We'll be on the 10/8 sailing (Matthew Permitting!). I'm not planning any kind of a live review, but if anyone is sailing within the next month or so and has specific questions (staffing, etc), please post them here before and during the cruise and I will do my best to find out. Sand and Seas Posted October 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2016 Can you check if there is still a complimentary breakfast being served in the Margaritaville venue? I believe I read about it somewhere here on the board, but when I saw some recent dailies it wasn't listed. Hope your cruise goes smoothly. It looks like storm is well past there now you just need to get to the port safely:)
dinette Posted October 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2016 What are the blackjack table minimums offered? Are there $ 25 & $50 min. tables and 6 to 8 deck shoe games offered. Thanks Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
KurtMo Posted October 7, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2016 Would appreciate any info on if there are spa specials on certain days, and what those are. Also interested on how timing of disembarkation goes. We are planning to walk-off in a few weeks, and have a flight from MIA at 11:59am.
Loonbeam Posted October 8, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted October 8, 2016 There is no breakfast at Margaritaville at this time. Haven guests get it free on embarkation day for lunch, that's it. Will confirm tomorrow. Casino is not open but I saw at least one table set for a $15 minimum. Will try to check on deck counts. Embarkation spa specials are a 10/20/30 deal for 3 treatments and 15 bonus minutes for massages booked today. Will get disembarkation in a few days. We are in the haven so get priority and are not walking off so will be limited to printed docs for that one Sent from my iPad using Forums

Have fun Loonbean!! I remember one of your lovely reviews from the Princess Boards. We've finally decided to give NCL a try in a couple weeks. If you haven't tried Windstar yet - you should try one of their sailing yachts! They are very romantic. SMSACE6 Posted October 8, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 8, 2016 Is the complementary breakfast at Margaritaville just for Haven people? or can any passenger get it? thanks.
CruisinHarvey Posted October 8, 2016 #11 Share Posted October 8, 2016 (edited) Be sure to say hi to the Chocolate cowboy, from Kim and Kerry, at the outside 5 somewhere bar. You may be there frequently! If you want a good show, be sure to stop the Mojito bar, when Bayamo is not open. Bong will make sure you have a good time. Enjoy your cruise! Also interested on how timing of disembarkation goes. We are planning to walk-off in a few weeks, and have a flight from MIA at 11:59am. Husband and I did the walk off this morning. It was a breeze. We left our room at 7:30 a.m. and were in MIA at 8:30 a.m. Our flight was at 11:37 and we had no trouble at all. Skipped coffee on the ship and had it at the A/P. Little place (forge the name) after security next to Pizza Hut has free refills.

Rare Coreysgrl06 Posted October 16, 2016 #20 Share Posted October 16, 2016 Hi I was wondering of you had the dailies from your cruise? I haven't seen any from October sailings yet. Thank you!
Loonbeam Posted October 19, 2016 Author #21 Share Posted October 19, 2016 It was Sharon Wilkins (who was in After Midnight) and 'Oh What A night' - a show about Frankie Valli music (did not see either so cannot speak to them). Also, Brenda Kaye (Hypnotist) and one of the other featured performers from After midnight did Cabarets in there (no food, no cover) Do you guys who were just on Escape know who the "guest entertainers" in the supper club were? Rare Coreysgrl06 Posted October 19, 2016 #23 Share Posted October 19, 2016 I have them but have not had the chance to scan them yet. Looking for anything in particular?) On my past two cruises with Norwegian there wasn't much to do during the day. I want to get an idea as to what may have changed.
Loonbeam Posted October 19, 2016 Author #24 Share Posted October 19, 2016 I will scan them when I can. There were a lot of entries but mostly usual cruise ship stuff. Bingo, live music, dance lessons, trivia, etc. On my past two cruises with Norwegian there wasn't much to do during the day. I want to get an idea as to what may have changed.
