karoolabiddy Posted October 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2016 (edited) Starting to get excited about our cruise on "Ovation of the Seas" on 28th January, 2017. We leave from Sydney, which is on daylight savings time, headed for Noumea. Sounds silly, but does the time change off Qld? Does anyone know how many time changes we will have on the way to NZ? Just curious as we have booked traditional late dining thinking of daylight saving but it will be very late if on Qld time. tangogulf Posted October 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Nope. No time change for south pacific island cruises. Ship will stay on Sydney Time.
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted October 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2016 No time change between Sydney and Noumea & Mystery Island. Two time changes forward between Mystery Island and NZ, probably one hour on each of the At Sea days. Two time changes backwards between NZ and Sydney, also probably one hour on each of the At Sea days.

Willow45 Posted October 15, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Great to hear we are heading off in a few weeks and I was wondering about this. I have a Fitbit watch and it doesn't like time changes if I'm not syncing it with my phone. Sent from my iPad using Forums
