lindakk Posted October 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2016 We're off to St. John's NB and wondering when is the best time to see the reversing falls? High tide, low tide, or in between? thanks for the info.

Baysgt27 Posted October 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Out going tide or incoming tide. Rapids change with the changing of the tides.
Je Souhaite Posted October 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2016 (edited) We're off to St. John's NB and wondering when is the best time to see the reversing falls? High tide, low tide, or in between? thanks for the info. First off, it's SAINT John. And the best viewing time is about 3 hours after low tide. Check the tide schedule. EatonDoolittle Posted October 19, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 19, 2016 Just checking out this thread for ideas on how to spend a day in port on this island. Found this:http://www.visitusvi.com/stjohn/homepage Just sayin... Nice link, but OP is asking about Canada, not the USVI. For St John in USVI, another website is vi now dot com (no space)
