Hello everyone . . . Welcome to “LIVE” from Norwegian Escape. I will be leaving tomorrow for a 7 Night Eastern Caribbean sailing on Saturday (Oct 22, 2016). I will be staying in Miami for 2 nights prior for some rest before my sailing.

 

My “LIVE” on Norwegian Escape will include some pre-cruise commentary as well as daily ship photos and comments. I am planning on obtaining The Ultimate Package for Internet usage which includes unlimited Internet (for 2 devices) so I should be able to provide lots of photos and commentary about the ship and ports of call. (St. Thomas, Tortola, and Nassau) This is the exact same itinerary that I sailed last October (On Norwegian Getaway)

 

 

I have to decided to fly down again tomorrow night, and yes I will be nervous wreck until I board the ship on Saturday morning. I’m not much of a flier as I usually drive or take the train to most home ports that I have sailed. The price was right, and I will put my big boy pants on and fly like most cruise passengers. . .

 

 

I never do Cruise Ship reviews, but I really like to post “LIVE” so other passengers can see the ship experience through my eyes. My “LIVE” posts often cover embarkation, public rooms, outside decks, and ports of call. This summer has been very hectic, and I really need to cruise. This year I sailed on Grandeur (Jan 2016), and Divina (May 2016) and am looking forward to sailing Escape.

I am not sure how the weather will be, but I will tell you that I will rest and have a lot of fun. (No matter what the weather is . . .) I am looking forward to having a Lavazza Americano when I board on Saturday morning. This should be a fun week!

WOW! What an honor...I'll be on this same voyage with you. I am organizing the cruise critic meet and greet. If you are able to join us, the party is set for Sunday October 23 at 11:00 in Cagneys. Just show up if you can I'd love to meet you...you are "cruise critic royalty...LOL!"

Is the "ultimate package for internet" new? I was unaware there was a package above "unlimited" that allowed two devices.

My husband and I will be sailing on the Escape on November 26th. We are also arriving 2 days prior to the cruise and will be staying in Miami.

I'd love it if you could share your Miami experiences also. We purchased a 2-day pass for the Hop on - Hop off Sightseeing Miami tour bus and are not really sure which sights we should definitely see. Thanks

I am on this Cruise also. You should come join us at the meet and greet. I wish the Internet packages were less expensive. The unlimited package would end up running $210 for the cruise. I got spoiled when I used to cruise Carnival since their unlimited package at that time was only $99 for the cruise.

I'm looking forward to reading about your cruise and seeing the pictures! I usually cruise on RCCL ships and I'm really excited about my March cruise on Escape.:D I've read other reviews of the ship and I cannot get enough! Thank you for offering to share with us!:) What are the dates of your RCCL Harmony of the Seas cruise?

According to NCL, the "Ultimate Cruise Plan (all ships)

Per day price for voyages 1-12 days" Unlimited Internet Access can be used by 2 devices (as long as they are not logged in at the same time)

 

I'm travelling solo. so this shouldn't be a problem. . .
