Belle Posted October 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2016 Did you buy your candy and put it out of sight Not eating it and saving it for Holloween night Does candy, cake. pie and ice cream call your name Or does bread, potato's, rice and chips do the same Why do all the things we like, we should eat less but they taste good Salads, veggies and meat are good for us but just food You all have been good losing each week or staying the same So your all trying to eat the right foods your winning the game So don't let the Holloween ghosts and goblins say just "take one" You don't want that candy, cookies ect you want to say "I won" Have another weigh-in before that Day.. stay out of the store Don't want to come in and say.. "I weigh more" But if have to buy.. buy something you don't like.. keep out of sight Bring it out on Holloween and make sure you give it ALL AWAY that night
mbruck Posted October 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2016 Cute poem - I've dropped 35 lbs to leave on my first Transatlantic guilt - free (almost). Try the latest version of WW for anyone who hasn't - they are a cult, but a benign one! Sent from my SM-N900V using Forums mobile app
MOcruiserman Posted October 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2016 I stayed the same, 183.5, 3.5 pounds away from my goal. Since last February I've lost 42.5 pounds and I hope I never put it back on. With all the focus on my weight loss and that of my wife, who is having success with Weight Watchers, we hadn't realized that our cruise is coming up and were surprised when our travel agent advised us that final payment was due. In less than three months we'll be in the beautiful Caribbean!
winewanderer Posted October 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2016 Hello, I finally lost 1 of the 2 lbs. I gained on my September cruise. Yeah. Mbruck and Cruiserman. Great total losses. Very inspiring. I have one month until we leave for China so hoping to lose a couple more. We don't buy Halloween candy anymore. We live in a community that is aging, not very many kids around. Have a good week everyone. Diana
FlamingJune1967 Posted October 20, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2016 Stayed the same this week - but I've been sick and my body is all messed up. Eating has been pretty good, though, which has been terribly difficult since I usually use food to self-medicate when I am feeling bad. Belle: You hit on my secret weapon - only buy treats and such that I don't like! I still have kids at home (9 and 11) and they know that some snacks and candy (I'm talking to you Reeses and Hershey!) are simply not allowed. My husband bought a pack of Oreo's before the hurricane - and they have been sitting in my pantry calling my name for a week! Finally, I opened the package, took out a few cookies for my daughter and myself - and threw the rest away before I could stop myself. Put them in the trash compactor and smashed them flat! Mr Buck: Congrats! I love WW - it is the only diet I ever lost weight on and KEPT off! Enjoy your TA! Cruiserman: Keeping weight off is a beautiful thing! Diana - always nice to need to lose weight because of a cruise :) Hope everyone has a losing week!
carabop Posted October 21, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 21, 2016 I don't remember what my last weigh in was as I have been working so much I miss a lot of Thursdays. I do know my weight is down a half a pound from my lowest weight. I am now at 133.5 and 5 days to setting sail for 15 day Hawaiian Cruise. See you when I return. shootr Posted October 21, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 21, 2016 Hello all, nice to be back in the world. Must have been eating OK (I know I got a bunch of cardio in!) because I'm down 3 lbs from 2 weeks ago to 188. Good to hear so many doing well. Jealous of those heading out to sea soon! Got a 5k tomorrow, wearing my Halloween costume I guess - I will try to post a pic :-).

insighttoronto Posted October 22, 2016 #9 Share Posted October 22, 2016 Hi everyone. I'm going to start checking in on Thursdays. I'm down 1.5 lbs in my first week of tracking. My goal is to lose at least 25 lbs before the end of February. I was 25 lbs lighter when I did my first cruise four years ago, so my incentive is I'll book another Western Med cruise in June if I achieve my goal. I'm leaving for a Halloween cruise next week and hopefully I'll stay on track. P.S. Great poem this week. Graham
shootr Posted October 23, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 23, 2016 Welcome Graham, a Halloween cruise sounds like a blast - enjoy (and take the stairs a lot :-)) Won a t-shirt at a corn hole toss at the run... apparently they guessed at the size... :-( Booooooo
Belle Posted October 23, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted October 23, 2016 (edited) No matter if in sun or rain.. Inside or outside' Hope you all had a good week so far since Thursday. Been able to stay on track. Mbruck.. Thank you and congrats on your loss. When do you leave? Bon Voyage! Cruiserman.. Great that you and your wife are doing so good. Isn't it nice to have a cruise booked. Diana.. Glad you lost. A month for your trip. Is it all land or half cruise? I'm debating on buying candy, a school night and don't get many kids. Good you don't have to. June.. Good job on the cookies, don't know if we all could do that. Sorry you were sick but glad you didn't gain. It's hard with kids at home with the candy. Carabop.. Congrats at being at your lowest weight. Bon Voyage ! Enjoy your Hawaiian Cruise. Are you all packed? shootr.. Great loss! You always have so much fun at your runs/races. Cute costume. You won a t-shirt! Yeah! Couldn't you ask for a smaller size. Love all your pictures. Glad you do that for us. Graham.. Thank you. Good loss for 1st week of tracking. Enjoy your Holloween Cruise. Sure you'll get to book the Western Med. That you'll lose by June. Leave on my b2b (25 days) in three weeks today. Love having a cruise booked. Going to Mexico and Hawaii. Today trying to see what clothes to take and not over pack. YEAH RIGHT! Edited October 23, 2016 by Belle
