Goochie Posted November 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2016 I have question, if you received a free cruise and then your spouse got one. Can you each take a person on your cruise?:o
doneinne Posted November 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2016 Based on what I've read on here, you each should be able to book a room with someone else. When you get on board go to guest services and switch rooms. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Romansky1 Posted November 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2016 I realize this is a different company but my husband and I just received a free cruise from Royal Caribbean and we could NOT use them both at the same time. We were told two options. Either 1) combine them for a jr suite (our offer was for each to get an ocean view) for a single cruise or 2) book two separate cruises and get the ocean view for each. mistycruiser Posted November 16, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 16, 2016 On Carnival we've reserved 2 rooms. Hubby and whoever in 1 and myself and whoever in the 2nd. Rather than switch rooms around with guest services we've just had 1 person from each room get a key to open the other rooms door. The extra key only opens the door and you use the regular S&S for charges. You'll need the guests getting the separate key to go to guest services together. May1cruiser Posted November 17, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 17, 2016 Yes, We recently each booked a separate room. Myself and our kids. My wife and her sister. Onboard, we switched rooms around so the kids stayed with their Aunt. Very cheap 7 day cruise for 5 people and 2 rooms.
easyboy Posted November 17, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 17, 2016 (edited) I have question, if you received a free cruise and then your spouse got one. Can you each take a person on your cruise?:o Are you saying that you got TWO FREE cruises for you and your spouse? If EACH FREE cruise indicates "good for 2", yes you can each take a person. But better to confirm this from the source of your FREE cruise. Edited November 17, 2016 by easyboy
winddawn Posted November 17, 2016 #7 Share Posted November 17, 2016 (edited) I have question, if you received a free cruise and then your spouse got one. Can you each take a person on your cruise?:o My only experience with free Carnival cruises is with casino offers. With a casino offer, yes you can each take another person to share your free cabin. Some "free" casino offers are different from others depending on the associated offer code, so each person may have to pay taxes and port charges depending on your offer details. And just FYI, if you are also a CCL shareholder, Carnival will not let you use your shareholder onboard credit offer on free cruises. I just booked my third casino free cabin offer this year.
