TheDougOut Posted December 1, 2016 Author #701 Share Posted December 1, 2016 Ok - I kind of made fun of this excursion. But it's great. The boat is almost silent, and the only noise is rippling water and the occasional "incoming!" from the zip line towers. My mom would love this, and it makes me want to come back with her some day. If only they furnished each boat with a monkey bartender... BEST EXCURSION EVER!! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
TheDougOut Posted December 1, 2016 Author #702 Share Posted December 1, 2016 Any idea if you can can just do the ropes course without doing the other adrenaline things? I believe so... it was showing up as a bookable excursion at one point for us on the NCL site. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

TheDougOut Posted December 1, 2016 Author #704 Share Posted December 1, 2016 Hard to tell from the photo: Is she excited to be navigating the mangrove??? We haven't moved in awhile, and she's no longer responding to me. It's quite possible she's sleeping. Completely serious. Cattravel10 Posted December 1, 2016 #706 Share Posted December 1, 2016 Are these electric boats easy to get in and out of? Will be doing this in April and going solo. Barb
TheDougOut Posted December 1, 2016 Author #707 Share Posted December 1, 2016 We're moving again. Are these electric boats easy to get in and out of? Relatively so. They're pretty much level with the dock, so you need to step into them, and then it's just getting down onto what I would call a comfy lounger. Very stable. Rare A&L_Ont Posted December 1, 2016 #720 Share Posted December 1, 2016 [/Quote] Is the water actually cold, does Sue like it hot tub warm? Is that a giant watermelon? Imagine what the crew could carve that into.:) Doug, how old is Harvest Cay? It looks like a great place.
TheDougOut Posted December 1, 2016 Author #721 Share Posted December 1, 2016 The pool water was perfect... I walked right in with no problem. Sue was just being Sue. The big green fruit looked like a watermelon... growing on one of the pool "islands". So crazy beautiful here. Chairs with umbrellas everywhere, pool and beach. TheDougOut Posted December 1, 2016 Author #725 Share Posted December 1, 2016 The Who - You Better You Bet Lunch conversation - Sue shares that she wasn't expecting to like the port (news to me). She was surprised - vast public areas that really handle the flow of passengers well. Plenty of tables, beach loungers, umbrellas, etc. We both agree - we'd look forward to seeing the port appear as a stop on future bookings. I'm not a beach-guy or sun-guy, but this pool is amazing. I lasted 14 minutes - quite possibly a record for me. Heading back to the ship after lunch. We missed out on the spa yesterday and feel we're due.
