bazzaw Posted January 8, 2017 #77 Share Posted January 8, 2017 The evening dress code has really nothing to do with dinner nor what dinner setting people have. It is the ship's evening dress code - evening being defined as after 6PM. There are two exceptions commonly quoted - ie the Lido and the associated bar - however I am unsure of the situation for those people who enjoy the outside pools in the early evening (getting to and fro?) I recall the acute embarrassment of a lovely old lady who was hoping to get back to her cabin unseen around 7PM, in very casual wear, only to be "sprung" by me getting into a lift on the floor that she was getting out. :)
highlands1234 Posted January 9, 2017 Author #78 Share Posted January 9, 2017 Bluemarble, Thanks for taking the time to email and finally get it clarified. So now I know i can have dinner in the lido in shorts before heading to change for the show at the royal court theater.
