BuckNut8412 Posted January 31, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2017 Ok, I know, diet and cruise don't really work together. But, I am on a points based diet and am curious if anyone else has been on a similar diet while on a cruise. I would love to hear about how you tracked your points and any tips for staying close to your point limit. I realize that I will go over, but I want to limit a little, don't want to blow what I have been working on.

nets33 Posted January 31, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2017 You can totally stay on plan if you want to. I have actually lost weight on a cruise before watching my food and exercising. Educate yourself on the points for each food. You will have to make some guesses but if you stay with simple foods without sauces it will make it easier. A phone app or a book that can help you with points will also help.

I brought my point converter booklet with me. Then I was on Flex points and it was even easier. I just stuck to rabbit food for lunch, chose the lighter options( the menu will list those lower in fat/calories) for dinner and saved the splurges for throughout the day.
