red919 Posted February 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2017 I don't drink champagne or sparkling wine and was wondering if anyone has been successful in exchanging the complementary Concierge class bottle for a red or white wine on Silhouette recently? I was able to do this a few years ago but not sure if Celebrity still allows this. And if so, what is the best way of doing it? Thanks!
Musigurl Posted February 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2017 Leave a note for your room steward -- and some cash ;)
MEcruzr Posted February 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2017 I did this last week. I left a note asking if it was possible to exchange the Prosecco for a bottle of Chardonnay. No problem.
CruzeBoozer Posted February 5, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2017 I have done this on most of our cruises and received reds no problem.
kathynorth Posted February 5, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2017 I've also been able to bring our concierge sparkling wine to dinner and exchanged it for a credit toward a bottle of wine that we consumed during dinner.

Rare travelberlin Posted April 6, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 6, 2017 It is possible to take the bottle of sparkling wine to the MDR and open it there free of charge?
LucasLounger1 Posted April 6, 2017 #8 Share Posted April 6, 2017 We asked to exchange for red; the steward brought us the red but never took the champagne away!
CHEZMARYLOU Posted April 6, 2017 #9 Share Posted April 6, 2017 It is possible to take the bottle of sparkling wine to the MDR and open it there free of charge? Yes, there is only a corkage fee for bottles you bring on board with you and don't drink in your stateroom. I think it is still $25.
