mbr_33 Posted February 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2017 I have a check-in "appointment" for Harmony, but does anyone know if they really stick to these times? If I get to the terminal earlier than my time, will I be able to check-in or will I have to wait for the time listed on my set sail pass? Thanks! schmeed Posted February 9, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2017 I have a check-in "appointment" for Harmony, but does anyone know if they really stick to these times? If I get to the terminal earlier than my time, will I be able to check-in or will I have to wait for the time listed on my set sail pass? Thanks! They will let you go earlier. The appointments are just to "try" to get people spaced out throughout the boarding time, instead of all 6000 showing up at once. I can tell you if you miss your scheduled appointment, they won't let you jump to the front of the current line. We missed our time and had to walk in the line for a few minutes. But it still wasn't bad. BTW: Harmony is AWESOME! You will have a blast!
racerxspeedy Posted February 9, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2017 I have a check-in "appointment" for Harmony, but does anyone know if they really stick to these times? If I get to the terminal earlier than my time, will I be able to check-in or will I have to wait for the time listed on my set sail pass? Thanks! We sailed Jan 28 and arrived just after 11am and no one was looking at the check in time. They started letting suite guests on board at 11:30, we had to wait until about noon before our row in the Diamond section was allowed on board. mbr_33 Posted February 9, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted February 9, 2017 Thank you! I'm really excited for it. We loved Oasis & Allure, so I'm sure we will love Harmony as well!
ALSEAU Posted February 9, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2017 I have a check-in "appointment" for Harmony, but does anyone know if they really stick to these times? If I get to the terminal earlier than my time, will I be able to check-in or will I have to wait for the time listed on my set sail pass? Thanks! There are no check-in time police. As has been stated the assigned times are an attempt to distribute the arrival of 6,000 passengers trying to check in. Regardless of how early you check in you will be directed to wait in your crown & anchor status section until security has released the ship for boarding. This process normally has begun at 11:30 AM for my cruises. No matter how early you get on the ship you will not have access to your cabin until 1:00 PM. Unless you are on your 2nd leg of a back 2 back cruise.
Mak7464 Posted February 9, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 9, 2017 on harmony now I will suggest not being in a rush. we arrived at the cruise port at Noon, so we unloaded our luggage, went through security, checked in, all without a wait.
troykahack Posted February 9, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 9, 2017 It is just like Dress Codes, it is only a suggestion..... LOL and it is very poor manners if you don't follow you assigned boarding time....

Palm City Cruiser Posted February 10, 2017 #10 Share Posted February 10, 2017 ....but you can check in at any time.:p Harmony requires a Set Sail pass for each member of your family upon checkin. On other ships the pass lists all members of the family. If you don't have individual passes they will print them out for you but that just delays the checkin process. Rare vacationlover_mn Posted February 10, 2017 #11 Share Posted February 10, 2017 I double checked our boarding passes, and for the 3rd cruise in a row- no boarding time listed! Yay! So, I think we'll leave our hotel around 10/10:30, and see how early we can board :)
