Egret32 Posted February 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Why haven't they published any voyages on the Majestic Princess after its maiden voyage arrival in Singapore? They must be selling other itineraries, but are these completely closed to non-Chinese residents?
Colo Cruiser Posted February 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Why haven't they published any voyages on the Majestic Princess after its maiden voyage arrival in Singapore? sidari Posted February 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2017 You would have to book via the company in China that has chartered the ship.
paul929207 Posted February 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2017 It is my understanding that all these cruises will be geared for the Chinese market. All food will be Chinese. All announcement will be in Chinese. Same with all entertainment, etc.
RDC1 Posted February 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2017 As people have indicated, the Majestic will be chartered to a Chinese company for the period that it is home ported in China. Princess supplies the ship and the crew, but all bookings go through the Chinese company. That is one of the requirements imposed for the ship to be home ported in China. You will not see anything for the Majestic on the Princess web site, until it has cruises that embark from ports outside of China. You saw similar things with the Sapphire. Nothing for any cruises while based in China, until the charter ended and you then see the Hong Kong to Singapore cruise (Hong Kong has its own rules, not the same as core China ports).
