Weston81 Posted February 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Flying back from the Carribbean in early November with Thomson. Does anybody know when you can book the extra baggage allowance and how you go about it?
Fatchemist Posted February 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2017 You call Thomson nearer the date. See the following P&O help page for details: https://ask.pocruises.com/help/PO/flights/baggage_allowance
Holly24 Posted February 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Hi, if you are sailing out and flying back I wouldn't bother unless we're talking about huge amounts of excess. Luggage coming back is bonded, it's collected from outside your cabin late evening on your last day and you will not see it again until the baggage reclaim at your destination airport. If it's going to be a little over coming back as in under a Kgish it isn't usually a problem. Flying out 23kg can be increased by phoning a couple of days before hand. Please remember though other people have to pick up your bags to get them on trolleys and to your cabin and over 23kg can be too heavy to lift. Happy travels, h
