pluvsd3 Posted February 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2017 When did the cupcake decorating class go up to $30. I thought this sounded like fun just not sure I want to pay $30. Does anyone know if it is cheaper on board Liberty?
letscruise1946 Posted February 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2017 A couple of years ago it was $20. It's was fun but I don't think I'd pay $30 for it. Just off the Liberty last month didn't notice any classes. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Bratface1005 Posted February 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2017 We did it with my Daughter on Oasis in 2015 it was I think 25. We did 2 different ones and SHE LOVED IT. For kids it is great as an adult I wouldn't do it. like I said she got a kick out of it and loved that she got to eat her creation and the left overs. famof4togo Posted February 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Does anyone know if they offer this on the Freedom? My 6 year old would love it...
ace1zoe2 Posted February 23, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2017 There is a kid's class that is $19 for adult or child. Then there is an adult class that is $30 for 45 minutes. At least that is what is showing on my cruise planner for our upcoming Liberty cruise.

Does anyone know if it is cheaper on board Liberty? We sailed in May of last year and it was $25. I hope it didn't go up, but anyway, it's not one I would do again as I'm a professional decorator anyway. I just joined in on the class last year because my daughter wanted to do it and wanted me to join her.
MM27 Posted March 28, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 28, 2017 I did the cupcake class on Freedom in August. I signed up for the adult one but there ended up being kids in it as well. One young girl was getting very frustrated because she couldn't keep up, but they did go slow enough for older kids to follow. It was fun. tomatecerise Posted March 28, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 28, 2017 My sister did the adult class and have fun. She did the prettiest cupcake of the class. It include a second cupcake of your choice. We did not want to eat him, he check us with is blue eyes...
tropiclvrs Posted March 28, 2017 #9 Share Posted March 28, 2017 I'm not sure when it went up but it was still $25 in August. I've done it twice and I wouldn't pay $30 for it. The last time it was one of the free perks from our TA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rare BlueSkiesTX Posted March 28, 2017 #10 Share Posted March 28, 2017 We have done it twice with our young daughters. They had a blast and the cupcakes were delicious! We would not do it a third time, however. I will just buy one of their cupcakes on our next cruise. I would not do the class as an adult. The $30 isn't worth it to me. widallas Posted March 28, 2017 #11 Share Posted March 28, 2017 If going during a busy time (i.e. summer break, Thanksgiving, Christmas), BOOK EARLY!!! This was included as a special "perk" from our TA last cruise, but we didn't sign up the first few days and classes filled up. MOBS of tiny children eating globs of frosting....I am OK that we missed out, but if I had a little one, it would be something I'd sign up for on day 1. We booked before we boarded. There was a waitlist by the time we boarded. Granted, it was a Thanksgiving cruise. Don't take your chances if you want to do it. jemsjens Posted March 28, 2017 #14 Share Posted March 28, 2017 The Cupcake Class was $25 in October. The class was fun but not worth it to do again.
