bryanjaync Posted February 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Sailing on Summit in November 2017 in Southern Caribbean. 1. I was excited about cabin 7000, but reading some things about the noise from a crew access area/stairs being noisy. Any input? 2. Is there really a dedicated space midship (according to deck plans) on a passenger deck for Acupuncture ? Seems odd placement/use of space. TN Vol Fan Posted February 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2017 We love cabin 7000. We once spent 28 days in it on the Connie. Yes there is a crew access door near by, but we never were really bothered with the door closing noise from it. Never heard it at night at all. Be aware you have to keep the curtains closed in that cabin all night. As for the Acupuncture area, when the M ships were designed, that space was used for something else and refurbished for the Acupuncture clinic when X decided to include those services. There was just no room in the Spa area, where everyone thinks it should be located. On older ships, they have to repurpose areas where they find the space. Happy sailing! bryanjaync Posted February 25, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Thanks for quick response. I feel so much more comfortable with my cabin choice. As long as quiet at night, I will be fine.
