Shore excursions- age restrictions?

I do not care if your child misses by 5 years, 1 year or 1 month. If it says that the child should be 6 and the child is not 6, they should not be on the excursion. Rules are rules, not sort of rules.

Agree wholeheartedly! OP seems to be of the "rules are for other people" segment. And, OP, if there are other HALexcursions that do not have an age discrimination, your all-too-quick lashing out at HAL and the posters was inappropriate and unfounded.

And please, for those excursion which have no age limits, make sure that your child is able to participate depended on his temperament and behavior.

I, along with a whole bus full of passengers, were held captives on a recent HAL excursion by mother who bought her undisciplined two year old on an excursion to the Harrison Caves on Barbados.

Anytime the child had to do anything (whether it was getting on the bus, sitting in a seat, or re-boarding a tram through the cave), it was screaming and crying for several minutes.
