pmcd404 Posted June 2, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2004 I've seen a few questions about Sabatini's/Sterling/Cafe Caribe and Formal nights. What's the concensus? This is all new to me - in my day, all we got to eat was hardtack and a thin gruel made from weavil droppings. The actual weavils went to first class. wwinfl91 Posted June 2, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2004 We always go to the main dining room on formal nights as on most ships the menu are usually the best of the cruise, lobster, steak, duck, etc. for entrees, shimp cocktail, cavier, etc for starters and usually some of the best deserts of the cruise. In my opinion if you don't mind abandoning your other table mates, assuming you are doing traditional dining, the best night to do an alternative dining venue. The menu the last night is usually not the best and it is one of those nights where the waiters all know they are getting a new group tomorrow night and sometimes are not at their best. Have a GREAT next cruise.
