cathi007 Posted April 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Hi, My DH and I are going on the two week Southern Caribbean out of NY on 1/20/19. We opted to get the family mini, as my daughter needs a room with a bathtub for the babies. (and she wants us to have attached rooms) The only family minis are on deck 9, which is right over the 5 O'Clock Somewhere bar and the Tobacco Bar. I was wondering if others who have had those cabins, 9808 and 9806 specifically, had problems with noise and/or smoke. I'm not sure why they would put the family rooms right above all the bars, but that's what they did. Thanks for the replies
carlissaandisaacsmommy Posted April 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2017 I would like to know as well. We were in a regular mid ship mini suite, but they "upgraded" us to a family mini suite. It was one of those rooms over the bar, but I called and FINALLY got someone to agree to move us to the other side of the ship. We are still over a restaurant, not sandwiched between 2 floors of staterooms like I would have liked.
KristenMedeiros Posted November 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2019 (edited) @cathi007did you end up staying in room 9808 and 9806 on the escape? We just booked those two rooms and debating switching. If so, can you let me know how they were? Thanks, Edited November 28, 2019 by KristenMedeiros
