Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted May 2, 2017 Author #102 Share Posted May 2, 2017 That was some damn fine fish, and the pineapple slaw was a great accompaniment. The drink of the day there was a Bellini martini which was also good. There wasn't any welcome back party probably because the terminal was like a standard embarkment through the terminal with x-ray machine in it. They did have ice cream waiting along with the standard cold towels and water once you got back on board. Sent from outerspace
triptolemus Posted May 2, 2017 #103 Share Posted May 2, 2017 Pier 23 is the spot. You're kinda lucky to have gotten in there! Had it been a weekend, you probably wouldn't have.
mugtech Posted May 2, 2017 #104 Share Posted May 2, 2017 Thank you for all the pictures and information. Could you find out where the Jewel will be going after April 1, 2018? She is docking in Japan that day and there is nothing on the NCL website schedule. Thank you.

I can believe that, it was still pretty busy when I was there. Sent from outerspace

Thanks, I am guessing you'll probably have to wait for more info on that unless they bring it up in the Latitudes meeting. Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted May 2, 2017 Author #108 Share Posted May 2, 2017 The poolside BBQ is smelling really good but I am way too full to try any. I did get a mango meltdown, usually I'm not one for slushy drinks but that sounded good. Sent from outerspace

Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted May 3, 2017 Author #110 Share Posted May 3, 2017 Waiting for sail away on deck 14. They haven't set up any loungers so it's just a big blank space. I'm going to head to the spa after we sail under the bridge. Sent from outerspace

Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted May 3, 2017 Author #112 Share Posted May 3, 2017 Finally on our way. We should be going under the Golden Gate in a little under an hour according to Pedro. Sent from outerspace
Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted May 3, 2017 Author #113 Share Posted May 3, 2017 It was a very popular sail away in the aft. There was even a whale on the port side as we got close to the bridge. After a soak in the hot tub with a sangria I feel as if everything is right in this moment. Sent from outerspace

Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted May 3, 2017 Author #116 Share Posted May 3, 2017 Bridge stuff is going on. I know exactly where that sign is located on Fremont Street. And a Citrus Gem at the Shakers Martini Bar. Sent from outerspace

RobTheGob Posted May 3, 2017 #118 Share Posted May 3, 2017 My fav drink on the Pearl last year was the Spicy Passion Mojito - it was AMAZING and I'm hoping I can find one on the Epic (no mojito bar) in November! If you have a chance - give it a try. We discovered it in the mojito tasting. We also did the martini tasting. I'll try to watch for your arrival in Victoria on Thursday! With some luck - I'll get a pic as you come in! But it's all about timing...

I also like the jalapeno cucumber one but I have not had it yet since they changed it to over the $15 limit. I think they know me in Sugarcane now so hopefully they'll swap out the rum with another one for me. Sent from outerspace

Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted May 3, 2017 Author #121 Share Posted May 3, 2017 If O'Sheehan's had Thai Chili wings I'd be there right now. Since they don't Azure has lured me in with the promise of grilled grouper. Remember when I said in my first post my pictures would only be blurry when I was? Well, take my word for it, there is grouper on the menu. Sent from outerspace

Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted May 3, 2017 Author #125 Share Posted May 3, 2017 Told you there was grouper. Can I just say that was some of the best service ever. Everything came out quickly, when I finished the dish was whisked away and it wasn't long before the next course arrived. Well done, Azure.
