vavasmom Posted May 8, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2017 I do not want this to be a pro/con of tipping discussion. I have searched and not found an answer We plan on eating multiple meals in coastal kitchen when we sail in 2 weeks. Does anyone know if the servers are part of the tip pool (get part of the pre-defined service gratuity)? I assume cash is the only option if I want to provide a tip since there is no charge - thus no receipt to sign - is that correct? I want to make sure I take enough cash Sent from my VS987 using Forums mobile app
Pratique Posted May 8, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2017 The server can bring you a zero balance bill so you can add a tip to your SeaPass account.

irishgal432 Posted May 8, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2017 They are included in the server pool of tips that are charged daily. You can tip in addition to the regular daily allowance as well.
Pratique Posted May 8, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 8, 2017 We got no receipts when we dined in Coastal Kitchen. I place my SeaPass card on the table at the end of the meal and that is their cue to bring a bill even if it is for $0.

Rare LisaLisa87 Posted May 8, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 8, 2017 We were given a receipt since we ordered wine with dinner, so we tipped via our Seapass card. Sent from my iPad using Forums
morganjannelle Posted May 8, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 8, 2017 My husband and I tipped in cash at the end of each meal we ate there as our server was different almost every time. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
