crisp1 Posted May 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2017 It's been a while- usually we're in a balcony- this time an ocean view- will we get robes and slippers?
jelayne Posted May 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Think slippers are AQ and maybe Concierge. Never had them in a veranda. You should have robes.
Majkman Posted May 15, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Think slippers are AQ and maybe Concierge. Never had them in a veranda. You should have robes. We were in veranda in Europe and we didn't have slippers. We asked our room attendant and 'miraculously' 2 pair appeared. Safe travels, Andy
Luvcrusn Posted May 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Yes, you will have the waffle type lighter weight robes. Slippers are supposedly only in Aqua and up. The heavier terry cloth robes are in concierge and up. Some folks don't like the heavier robes, especially in warmer climates and ask for the waffle. Probably if you ask for slippers they may magically appear. Cabin stewards love to please their guests!
Innocent bystander Posted May 15, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Here's a dumb question...I think we can keep the slippers and robes. My husband disagrees. I can't imagine wearing these things after someone else.
jasm8449 Posted May 15, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2017 You can keep the slippers. You cannot keep the robes, but you can purchase them. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Happy Cruiser 6143 Posted May 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 15, 2017 The slippers aren't all that exciting unless you have very large feet. They might work for a large football player, but for ordinary mortals, they tend to slip off.
CEOofVacation Posted May 15, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Not sure if different types of staterooms get different slippers. We were in a sky suite and the slippers were paper thin and extremely rough - not fit for use. We threw them out immediately.

Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted May 15, 2017 #10 Share Posted May 15, 2017 We book concierge cabins when we cruise on Celebrity and have never been given slippers. We do get robes, but they aren't soft waffle knit robes. They are a thick white terry cloth.
